It was a cool spring day, the sun was high in the air yet the breeze flowed through the grass, lifting the sent of lavender into the air. It's a perfect day one might think; it's a damn perfect day! However amongst the cheer and spring time glee there was one who thought the day to be annoying, hot and smelly. As everyone walked through the streets of the small town in shorts, skirts and light colored clothing, a form stalked down the coble in a heavy black cloak. Eyes were locked on the figure as the chains on her heavy black boots clanged with each step.
"Who is that?"
"What is that?"
"Where did it come from?"

Without it we'd be dead.
Witout the trees we could not breathe.
Without the ozone we would burn in a day.
Without the water we would not drink.
Without the pollution animals would not be extinct, and the ground and air would be clean.
Without aeresol cans and air conditioners, the ozone would not have a big hole.
And without me the world not be as bright.
She was standing there in front of the class, forced to spew out factoids about her life to people she didn't know and would most likely not remember outside of the small room. A task she didn't like to do, a paper she really didn't want to read, an assignment she had trouble writing. She was a normal girl, everyday average college student at the age of twenty one. Stage fright and her anti-social nature kept her from keeping eye contact with anyone, her voice barely audible. Yet, for the grade, she continued on.
The facts were mostly mundane, born in New York City, raised there all her life. A city gal with the desire to become more, have

Well, everything official ended one month ago and now the results are in. I can honestly say this contest was a bad idea. I've seen people do them before and thought they were easy and fun, however they are not.
What I've learned is it's best to just commission people if you want artwork. The idea of a contest is confusing and hard to advertise. I was actually looking for more entries from more people. I also thought having a port contest and a normal picture contest at the same time was a good idea; it wasn't. I also thought having a large selection of characters to choose from was a good idea; it wasn't.
In the end, I want to thank the pe
NOT YET. :p
This is just a fully updated list of who is in the contest. If you're name isn't here because I forgot, let me know.
This list is what will be used to do the judging. The next journal update (in a few days) will announce the winner. Okay? Great.
Sorry to those who wanted more time, you can thank a certain SOMEONE for going ape shit and making me not care anymore.

After April 1st I don't want to hear anymore about this contest.
It is now March 27th. Anyone who hasn't finished their entries by April 5th is out of time. That's the last time I want to hear anything about this.
By April 10th or so, I'll list who won and I'll note those people and discuss prizes in private.
Everyone else...well, thanks for the fun.
CONTESTS ARE A BAD IDEA!
They're a waste of money and too much hassle. If you want nice artwork just commission people. I've never had any issues commissioning good artists but this contest was a huge waste of time. There were some nice entries though, a lot of nice drawings. That's the only
